Nicaragua's Ortega poised for 3rd election win

Nicaraguans headed to the polls Sunday, with President Daniel Ortega almost assured of a third term in office, a victory that critics warn could seal a life-time presidency.

The 65-year-old Ortega, once a Sandinista revolutionary, was leading his cheap jerseys closest rival, opposition radio station owner Fabio Gadea of the Liberal Independent Party, by 18 points in the most recent poll.
